RIP Britannica
Before the Internet, when I was young, I’d read an encyclopedia when I couldn’t go to sleep, and that was damn near nightly. Glossy pages, good pics, lots of info. Makes me think I should get a set for the kid before they become vintage & the price goes up. Sure, he can do it on the iPad, but all that screen time can’t be good.

Today I saw what had to have been he 50th response to the Forbes article that started this hash tag, and I had to wonder why. At what point does all the response get as ineffective as the article itself. Do people think Marks or the audience he wrote the post for are reading these responses? Is it some warped sense of duty that’s got every minority or white liberal with access to a keyboard...
